Construction of Passenger’s Ports Terminals at the Amazon River main locations, Iquitos - Santa Rosa section, in the Loreto Region, Peru. Study at project profile level.
SCOPE OF WORK
It included, among others, the analysis of the current situation of passenger transport in the Amazonian section, the determination of the area of influence, passenger demand, port offer, characteristics of navigation conditions in the areas of study and the location and design of five passenger terminals for a 300-passenger ferry; Including the piers and the waiting area, as well as the corresponding economic evaluations, in order to achieve the feasibility of the project, within the context of public investment. In order to do so, it will be considered aspects such as: Results of fluvial hydraulics studies - Determination of flow design - Bathymetric studies – Topographic studies - Geodetic studies – Passenger Transport demand studies - Sensitivity analysis - Sustainability analysis – Investment, operation and maintenance costs – Alternative solution evaluation - 3D electronic model of the design.
